Orienteering camp
Wohoo!!! Ytd I went for a camp, orienteering camp organised by BB Barker..
At first, got to go for CIP. I was wearing school u with court shoes but was carrying a big bag for camping! It’s super off!!!
I hate wearing court shoes… Got blister on my small toe… but have to bear with it… Ytd e CIP was a seminar about fights against terrorisme, Security Watch Group, Red Cap Project. I visited e exhibition outside and the people there were eager to explain things to me, esp e metal door (duno wat’s e actual name) which can detect metal carried by ppl. Even e MCs were eager to explain to me… Cz when I tried it no indications is shown so one of the MCs lent me his watch yet nothing happened, haha…
After CIP, I quickly changed to casual wear and my journey to Sembawang BB/GB Campsite alone began. Wow, damn tired at the end of the CIP, slept a bit on the way.
When I reached there, found the dorm 4 AC Primers to sleep, and I slept again. The boys next door were very very very noisy. So after warning them, they were better, still a bit noisy though…
Haha… Talked to my officer during dinner. Guys, don’t try to bluff me that you are not thinking about sex when you are with your gf… cz my officer said guys are like that.. He oso shared his view of relationship..
At night, oh my goodness, we were trying to sleep early so that the next day, which is today, we can get up earlier for the long distance walk (ard 30 km) but the boys were super noisy. At the end I slept by the time they slept. What is the point of sleeping early?
So, at 4 we gathered at canteen and started our preparation and stretching. THen, we were given map to plot the checkpoints with the 8 figures grid. Haha, Ron accidentally gave us the answer sheet and we were still blur blur tot it was not..
We were the first team set off from the campsite. We were leading all the way. On foot all the way le…. Then we bought our branch, instant noodles and bread at Woodlands checkpoint then cooked at a park using solid fuel and portable stove. Fun man…
When we were reaching the end, we started running towards the campsite from the second last checkpoint. I was the last one, haha… At the end because of the incentif - 2 ice-cream per person if run back all the way - by Ron, we actually ran back. We impressed our officer, mr.chew n Barker teachers. They underestimated us, tot we would be e last one… we have proven we are strong! haha..
Ahh…. so now vr tired, gt a lot of laundry to do…
